When WebConnect is set up for a particular company, the policy document viewer toolbar will include the new WebConnect icon. When activated, the company web site will open in the viewer to your brokerage account, and the subject client’s account information will be presented based on the policy number. WebConnect is also available from the Tools menu. In this case it can take a user directly to the company web site and the broker account, but the user will have to navigate to a specific client file.

Today WebConnect is set up for Wawanesa and Royal & Sun Alliance,  more companies will be added. If you would like WebConnect access to another company’s web site, please provide Custom Software with the details.

WebConnect also has the ability to connect to the CGI claims web interface for claims history lookup including HITS, MVR and Autoplus. This is a fee-based service that requires a CGI account. The CGI site can similarly be accessed from within a client folder and WebConnect will fill in the search fields with the data from the folder. Once the desired report is obtained, a user can save it as a pdf file in the folder for later viewing and printing.
